AIPINS is WESSA (Wild Life Environmental Society Of South Africa) certified to conduct site to identify Alien Invasives and generate reports to be furnished to property owners, sellers and buyers, and submit reports to the Department of Environmental Affairs as required by the NEMBA Act 110 of 2004 - Biodiversity, which requires all owners and/or occupants to declare the presence of such plants. ecessary action should be taken to eradicate plants that are listed under category one and where required application has to be made to retain certain plants if required.Sellers of property are required to furnish the buyers with copies of such reports. Since one cannot in fairness expect all citizens to have an in depth knowledge of the invasive species, AIPINS is here to be of assistance to property owners to ensure that they comply and stay within the law. Assistance is also offered with the proper eradication of the highly undesired species. Simply cutting down or slashing is never effective and proper measures and treatment should be applied to ensure total eradication.
