BMF North West

BMF North West We are positioned as a thought-leader through contributing to the public and producing solutions for the problems faced in South Africa.

The BMF is a non-racial, non-partisan and non-sexist organisation, focusing on the development of managerial leadership and the creation of managerial structures that are reflective of the demographics and values of the broader South African society. The BMF strives to provide its members with access to the necessary tools to develop managerial and leadership skills through workshops, conferences

and programmes. Our goal is to advocate for transformation in the social and socio-economic sphere and this includes lobbying for legislation that seeks to change the economic outlook in corporate South Africa and the broader society.

The BMF Agenda | Presidential Series

Nearly five decades on, the founding president of the Black Management Forum reflects—not only on what was built, but on what was missed.

This is not a retrospective.
It is a reckoning with the decisions that shaped the institution and those that did not.

At its core is a simple but powerful idea: we do not build alone.

In African thought, ideas are not owned. They are offered, tested, refined through others.

Umntu ungumntu ngabantu.

As we look ahead, the question is not only what we will build but how, and with whom.
