SASDO at the Language Diversity Conference 2026 – Accra, Ghana

We are proud to share that our Managing Director had the opportunity to attend the Language Diversity Conference 2026 in Accra, Ghana.

This five‑day gathering brought together leaders, scholars, and cultural advocates from across Africa and beyond to celebrate our continent’s rich linguistic heritage and explore strategies to preserve and promote language diversity for future generations.

Attending this conference strengthened our commitment to cultural preservation, cross‑cultural exchange, and empowering communities through education and heritage. As we continue to pursue the development of our local languages, this platform was invaluable—different scholars and academics shared their journeys and experiences, offering deep insight into language revitalization.

Currently, SASDO is actively engaged in language development and preservation projects. We value our local languages and take pride in being their speakers. Language is not only a tool of communication—it is a cornerstone of identity, belonging, and cultural resilience.

We are grateful for the invitation to contribute to this important dialogue and look forward to building stronger collaborations in the journey of safeguarding Africa’s linguistic heritage.

Our one‑week tour through Limpopo gave us the incredible opportunity to learn from the rich traditions of the Venda people. From their vibrant customs to their deep connection with heritage, it was a truly beautiful experience.

South Africa’s diversity continues to inspire us—each culture a unique thread in the tapestry of our nation.
