The Northern Cape Indoor Social League extends its heartfelt condolences to FC Thole CA, the Monethi family, friends and teammates on the passing of their goalkeeper, Mr. Paseka Monethi.

We mourn the loss of a dedicated sportsman who served his team with courage, discipline and unwavering passion. His contribution to the game and to the league will be fondly remembered and will never be forgotten.

May his soul rest in eternal peace and may strength and comfort be granted to all those affected by this profound loss.

Competing under the vibrant atmosphere at the Taka-Shack, the team demonstrated exceptional consistency, discipline and competitive spirit throughout the campaign, ultimately earning them the prestigious league title.

Across an intensive 40-match season, Diamond FC showcased remarkable quality and resilience. Their performance reflects a team that not only arrived prepared for the challenges of the league, but one that approached every fixture with commitment and purpose. Their impressive record speaks for itself:
• 30 victories, highlighting their dominance and tactical strength;
• 2 draws, underscoring their ability to remain composed under pressure;
• Only 8 losses, a testament to their defensive organisation and mental fortitude;
• An extraordinary 168 goals scored, showcasing their attacking depth and creativity and;
• A solid 58 goals conceded, demonstrating balance between offense and defence.

This level of performance can only be achieved through teamwork, leadership and a shared desire to excel. Diamond FC have set a new benchmark for excellence within the league and have truly earned their place at the top.
