We are thrilled to welcome a powerhouse of purpose and passion to the She Works, She Leads virtual stage - Juanita Khumalo.

Juanita is not only a dynamic public and keynote speaker, but also a seasoned marketer, brand strategist, and holistic wellness digital entrepreneur. With a BCom degree in Marketing, Brand Management, and Corporate Finance & Investments from the University of the Witwatersrand, she brings both academic rigor and real-world expertise to every endeavor.

Her career spans over a decade in communications and branding, having worked with global giants like CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa, and L’Oréal, as well as luxury brands including Elie Saab and Issey Miyake. But Juanita’s true calling emerged from the intersection of branding and wellness - leading her to found Trove Wellness, a pioneering platform dedicated to empowering women through holistic health.

As the Brand South Africa Fitness & Wellness Ambassador, a Cosmopolitan Health & Wellness Influencer Award winner, and a FitLife Magazine cover star, Juanita has become a celebrated figure in South Africa’s wellness landscape. Her Trove Wellness events are among the most anticipated fitness gatherings for women in the country, inspiring thousands to embrace a balanced and empowered lifestyle.

As a gender researcher, published author, and policy advisor, Lutfiyya brings a wealth of insight shaped by her leadership in the Pan-African Collective for Evidence (PACE) and her role as Media & Communications Officer for South African Youth in Diplomacy (SAYID). Her academic journey at the University of Witwatersrand, where she’s pursuing a Master’s in Governance and Policy, reflects her deep-rooted passion for decolonial education and transformative leadership across the African continent.

From presenting at global platforms like the G20 Youth Summit to shaping local policy conversations, Lutfiyya embodies the power of informed advocacy and intentional impact.
