𝐌𝐒𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬
MSLA is proud to announce that two of its outstanding matric learners, Nonhlanhla Nyamagoronga from Vuyolwethu High School and Sundes Aden from Technical High School, have been awarded the highly competitive Mastercard Foundation Scholarship for 2026.
This scholarship is designed to support academically strong students who also demonstrate leadership and a commitment to community engagement. Both Nonhlanhla and Sundes exemplify these qualities through their exceptional academic achievements and active participation in MSLA’s outreach programmes.
Coming from financially challenged households, this opportunity will transform their educational and career trajectories, enabling them to pursue tertiary studies without the burden of financial constraints. Their success reflects MSLA’s mission to empower youth through education, leadership development, and global citizenship.
MSLA Managing Director, Anne Maclean, expressed her pride:
“We are thrilled to see Nonhlanhla and Sundes recognized for their hard work and dedication. This achievement is not only a personal victory for them but also a testament to the impact of MSLA’s holistic approach to education and youth empowerment.”
The Mastercard Foundation Scholarship opens doors for these learners to study at leading institutions in South Africa and beyond, fostering future leaders who will contribute meaningfully to their communities and the continent.
