Today, we honour the courage, resilience, and determination of the young people who shaped our nation’s history and continue to shape its future.

Youth Day is more than a remembrance of the past—it is a reminder of the power that lies within every young person to dream boldly, rise above challenges, and create meaningful change in their communities.

At Rooted Gem Foundation, we believe that when young people are given opportunities, support, and hope, they become the leaders, innovators, and changemakers of tomorrow. Just as a gem is formed through time and pressure, greatness is often discovered through perseverance and purpose.

All systems were go this Easter weekend as we proudly partnered with Coach Frans Mothapo to host the Annual Soccer Tournament in Polokwane, Limpopo.

This program gives young people a safe, structured alternative to street life, drugs, and gang exposure—while building discipline, teamwork, and positive values through sport.

Over the recent holiday season, we also undertook a bold journey to support five major community projects spanning Kimberley and Polokwane in South Africa, and Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. These moments are deeply meaningful and would not be possible without the belief and partnership of those who stand with us. Your support is the foundation upon which lives are strengthened and restored.
