Stitch2Stitch Stitch2Stitch (S2S) is a skills training programme for single, unemployed mothers. STITCH2STITCH is run as a separate entity to a|City Church.

STITCH2STITCH (S2S) is a project that was started in 2014 in an attempt to decrease unemployment in areas like Nyanga, Philippi, Samora Machel and Mfuleni by increasing the skills base of unemployed mothers residing in these areas. Using the concept of Ubuntu as a platform, the project sees a hand up in offering skills at no financial cost to potential trainees as being far more beneficial than a

hand out which is a temporary solution. The project is registered as a separate NPO. In 2019 STITCH2STITCH opened its very own center in the heart of Khayalitsha. This center houses not only the training center, but also a clothing design business, LUS- PIN.
