Our Girlpreneurship journey is back — and we are so excited!

Each year, our Grade 3 learners step into the world of business through our 11-week Girlpreneurship Programme. From brainstorming ideas to pitching to investors, and tracking their profits and losses, our girls are building real-world skills at an early age — and growing into confident, creative future business leaders.

This week marked a big milestone: their official pitch day!
Our young entrepreneurs shared their business ideas and have now been paired with mentors who will guide them over the coming weeks. We are excited to see these partnerships grow and flourish.

With Child Protection Week approaching, we are pleased to share a meaningful learning opportunity from the Molo Mhlaba Institute (MMI) in collaboration with Little Panda.
MMI will be hosting an online training session designed for Educators and all Individuals who work with children, with a focus on the primary school phase. This session aims to strengthen awareness, knowledge, and practical approaches to supporting child safety and wellbeing.
Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate of participation.

Family Fun in Full Swing! 💖🌞

What a way to kick off the month of love! On 7th February 2026, Molo Mhlaba Schools hosted our Family Day Picnic, and it was an absolute blast! Families, friends, and classmates came together to share laughter, smiles, and unforgettable memories.

From splashing in the swimming pool to enjoying a sizzling braai and refreshing ice pops, there was something for everyone. Our students had the time of their lives, and we loved seeing parents join in the fun and take a dip too!

It was also lovely to witness some of our graduates from Grade 7 joining in the fun and assisting throughout the day, showing true sisterhood and the spirit of giving back.

A huge thank you to our wonderful venue for hosting us and making the day so special. Your space was the perfect backdrop for joy, connection, and celebration.

Here’s to more moments like these, filled with love, laughter, and community spirit!

What a joyful way to close the year!

As we wrap up 2025, we pause to honour the lessons, achievements and incredible growth we’ve witnessed across our campuses. Each phase brought their magic to Friday’s End-of-Year Production:

Our 3–6 children captivated us through storytelling
The 6–9 phase lit up the stage with a vibrant dance
Upper Campus honoured Gcina Mhlophe through story, movement, and expressive performance

It was a celebration of voice, confidence, creativity, and community — a beautiful reflection of what learning looks like at Molo Mhlaba.

On Saturday, 27 September 2025, we celebrated a historic moment at Molo Mhlaba – our very first Grade 7 Farewell Celebration!

Our 19 trailblazing girls, who began their journey with us in 2018, were honoured with a beautiful Umembeso – an African tradition of gift-giving where we guide and prepare young women as they step into a new stage of life.

Each graduate received:
A custom-made genuine leather bag with her name
A personalised Molo Mhlaba cap for their Namibian camp ( Rite of Passage)
Powerful books to shape their futures: Atomic Habits, I Write What I Like (Steve Biko), The Resurrection of Winnie Mandela (Sisonke Msimang) & Nervous Conditions (Tsitsi Dangarembga)
A Winnie Mandela T-shirt to honour the legacy of their class namesake

We are so proud of these young leaders and excited for the journeys ahead! 💜
