Our four matric champs - Sinalo, Elihle, Lilitha and Olwethu - are heading into their final exams, and we’re backing them all the way.

They’ve put in the kilometres. Now it’s time to put pen to paper.

Girls, you’ve got this. Go make those exam papers nervous! 💪🏽

What a beautiful way to mark World Mental Health Day!

Our campus was buzzing as we welcomed Little Lions Coaching, our youngest champs and the wider Khayelitsha community for a day of movement, teamwork, laughter and conversations about mental wellbeing.

Bikes spinning. Teams cheering. New friendships forming. And space for every feeling - not just the happy ones.

Because being a champion is about more than physical strength. It’s about looking after ourselves, looking out for one another and knowing that we all belong.

A huge thank you to Little Lions Coaching, Cotton On Foundation and BOS for bringing everyone together and making the day so special.

A fresh addition to the Velokhaya family!

Before the week gets moving, we get still.

Monday at Velokhaya starts together. A moment for prayer and reflection, followed by a look back at the week behind us and a conversation about the one ahead.

Friday, with a twist. ♟️

The chess boards came out at Velokhaya yesterday and suddenly everyone had an opinion on the next move.

The bike was never supposed to be the finish line.

Junior Benya raced for Velokhaya. Today, he’s a Food Science & Technology graduate, completing his Honours and, with a curiosity for what comes next, turning his sights towards data science.

We’re proud of what our young people achieve on the bike. We’re even prouder by where they go from there.

Stay curious. Keep moving.

Once Velokhaya. Always part of the story.

Women have always been part of the Velokhaya story.

On the bike and beyond it. As riders, leaders, colleagues, supporters and friends, women and girls have helped shape who we are and where we’re going.

As Mzansi marks Women’s day this Sunday, we celebrate the women who have been part of the journey with us today and those still to come.

Their place in our story goes far beyond one day.
