Bill from our APU team wrote this amazing song and created this picture to go along with it. It’s a poignant insight into what the team go through to keep our rhino safe!

It’s Earth Day today and as you all know, protecting our rhino at all cost is our core purpose.

To achieve this goal, part of what we do is educating the communities and schools around us on the plight of the rhino and what will happen if we allow the poaching to continue. Lilyfontein School has been a supporter of us for a long time and carry out significant fundraising efforts for us which we are forever grateful for. As part of their work they draw pictures for us to show what they have learnt and motivate the team to carry on. Here are some of the absolutely stunning pictures that we received recently.

Poor Courage just wanted to relax!

A lovely little video showing some different behaviours of our normally very passive rhino!

To echo Chris’s words in the video. We want to thank Rhino Rescue UK from the bottom of our hearts for their relentless and ongoing support. They funded this dehorning procedure, which, we strongly believe, makes our rhinos just that little bit safer.

Not only do Rhino Rescue UK sponsor procedures like this, they also help fund our trackers and cameras and also our dog unit. All vital tools in the constant struggle to protect our rhino!

Thank you! ❤️

There are fewer than 16,000 white rhinos left on earth.

Let that number sit with you for a moment.

Today, on World Wildlife Day, we're not just raising awareness - we're raising the alarm.
And the funds. And the hope.
At Sibuya Rhino Foundation, we exist for one reason: to ensure that the rhino's footprint outlasts our own. Every ranger on night patrol. Every dehorning that keeps a rhino safer. Every tracking device, every vet call, every sleepless night in the bush - that is your donation at work.

Rhino have walked this earth for 50 million years.

They do not have another 50 million to wait for us to act.

This World Wildlife Day, will you stand with them?

It’s not only puppies that get zoomies, little Lily also gets those bursts of energy that just need to be used! Luckily this means the cutest displays of fun for our guests!

Thanks for the video JP!
