Our Story
Sibuya Wilderness Experience was started in 2019 by a team of passionate conservationists working to save our endangered wildlife and marine life from extinction.
We want to share our knowledge and passion for nature with volunteers from all over the world, in order for them to gain a better understanding of nature and what we can all do to conserve it.
Our 1-4 week wilderness experience offers you the chance to play a hands on role in lots of important and exciting conservation projects at Sibuya Game Reserve and Intaka Bird Lodge. No two days are the same and projects include: - Wildlife tracking and monitoring - Rhino watch / anti-poaching support - Alien plant control and botanical surveys - Aquaponics and wetland sustainability projects - Marine explorations, research and surveys - Community engagement
