At the handing over of 5050litres Water tank and 300m Green shaded net to Khanyolethu Seedlings 🌱 Co-op; courtesy of SAYC Amathole & Aspire Development Agency 🇿🇦 Of Amathole District Municipality. This is a noticeable step towards decreasing the 52,4% alarming youth unemployment rate in the Eastern Cape Province. We wish Khanyolethu Co-op all the best as they continue doing business and creating jobs.

Good Morning Colleagues, above is an update from the proceedings of the SAYC Amathole visit to iKomkhulu lase Sintsana as invited by I-Nkosi uVulisango Dondashe.

The gathering was comprised of the Ngqusi Chiefs’ Council as led by Chief Vulisango Dondashe, SAYC Amathole as led by three REC Members, SAYC Mnquma Coordinator, Ward Councilor & Ward Committees.

This is the same royal home whose Chief was brutally murdered and dumped into a forest. Early this year a young person has assumed Chieftaincy and as SAYC Amathole we have availed ourselves to be of assistance to this Young Chief to ensure that young people of the five rural Villages under his leadership see the dawn of development.

The gathering concluded that on the 8th of December 2023, SAYC Amathole will host a massive soccer and netball tournament to end the year 2023.

Youth Development has never been more urgent.
