We were invited to do a show and tell, and the kids really enjoyed it. The sirens were activated by both the Medical and Fire teams, giving the children a chance to experience what emergency services are all about. This is what we do — showing the kids what it means to serve and help the community.

Please report any incident, no matter how small, to 10111 (SAPS).

Many people choose not to report incidents because they don’t have insurance or feel it is a waste of time. However, every report is important. If incidents are not reported, it creates the impression that there is little to no crime in the area. This can result in resources and visibility being redirected to other areas.

Your report makes a difference and helps ensure our community receives the necessary support and policing presence.

INCIDENT REPORT
LEONARDO AVE HOUSE FIRE 16/09/2025

RedOPS and S6 CPF members were alerted of a house fire in Leonardo Ave at around 17h05 on the 15th September 2025. Immediately RedOPS control dispatched Kilo 1 to the scene, who arrived on scene at 17h08. RedOPS Control initiated iER for fire services dispatch and received reference number 20250915/73. Thank you RedOPS Control for your speedy assistance!!!

CPF members CV, JV and ZV had dispatched their fire truck as well and were first water on scene to render assistance. Thank you

Thank you to CPF member MW for arranging and dispatching ORTIA fire

Emergency services - ORTIA Fire services, Ekurhuleni Fire, Secure Fire, ER24, Netcare911, EMS Life, CLC Medical started arriving on scene at 17h25.

CPF members and RedOPS assisted with traffic control.

Thank you RedOPS Kilo 1 for jumping in and trying to assist in keeping the flames at bay on your arrival!! Thank you all CPF members that assisted in getting emergency services on scene!!

Thank you Bonaero Park community for your assistance and support for the family. It was amazing to see the community come together and render assistance and support!!!!
