During our Meet the Need outreach in Kempton Park, we saw what happens when that shared value becomes Love in Action.

It is more than logistics.

It is about people coming together to serve people.

A warm meal. Essential toiletries. Warm socks. A smile. A conversation. A helping hand.

Small acts can carry a powerful message:

Our **Inner-City Outreach in Kempton Park**, through the **AC2C Centre – Meet the Need Programme**, was a powerful reminder that compassion becomes meaningful when it is put into action.

A very special **thank you to the incredible team at Fracht Group** for standing with us and helping make this outreach possible. 🙏

Your team showed genuine passion for helping people, not simply by providing support, but by being present, engaging with the community and sharing kindness, dignity and hope.

This is what **Love in Action** looks like. ❤️

When corporate partners and NPOs come together with a shared heart to serve, we can reach people who are often unseen and remind them that **they matter, they are valued, and they have not been forgotten.**

A Day of Hope, Dignity & Connection ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Fracht Group for empowering AC2C Centre to make this meaningful day possible.

What began as a day of giving became so much more — a day of connection, dignity, warmth and hope.

Together, we were able to share:
A warm, nourishing meal
Essential toiletries
Warm socks to help keep feet warm
And, perhaps most importantly, smiles, laughter and human connection

Spending the day alongside people who are less fortunate was a deeply humbling experience. It reminded us that sometimes the greatest impact is not only in what we give, but in how we make people feel — seen, valued, respected and remembered.

This is what meaningful corporate and NPO partnership can look like: coming together to make a difference where it matters most.

Last week, something beautiful happened when two teams came together with one purpose: to serve.

Long before the first bowl of soup was handed out, the AC2C team was already busy preparing. Food was made. Care bags were put together. Everything was packed and prepared for the day ahead.

Then, before we began, Pastor Dennis led us in prayer, placing the day and everyone we would meet into God's hands.

Then it was time to serve. Together with the Fracht team, we went out into our community to serve people living on the streets.

The Fracht team helped serve warm soup, fresh bread and care bags, while our teams worked together to make sure the afternoon ran smoothly.

What we gave that day was about more than food and supplies. It was about taking a moment to say:
“We see you.”
“You matter.”
“You have not been forgotten.”

We are incredibly grateful to the Fracht team for partnering with AC2C and for giving their time and hearts to this outreach, and a special thank you to our AC2C team for all the preparation, hard work and love that went into making the day possible.

We don't always get to see the full impact of a moment like this.

But if, even for a little while, someone felt warmer, cared for, listened to or remembered, then the day was worth it.

Serving others is not always about changing the world.
Sometimes it's simply about making someone's world a little better for one day.

What if we stopped defining people by their worst day?

The teenager who made a mistake.

The parent who is struggling.

The person who has lost their way.

The individual society has already decided has no future.

We are all more than our hardest moment.

More than our mistakes.
More than our circumstances.
More than the things we've done or the things that have happened to us.

A difficult chapter is still only a chapter.

It doesn't have to be the ending.

Sometimes, what a person needs most isn't another reminder of where they've gone wrong.

They need someone willing to believe that there can still be something better ahead.

And perhaps that's where another chance begins. 💙

Don't let someone's past convince you that they have no future. 🌱

Sometimes compassion looks like a warm bowl of soup. Sometimes it looks like fresh bread. Sometimes it is a small care bag placed into someone's hands. And sometimes, perhaps most importantly, it looks like someone showing up.

Today, AC2C – Another Chance 2 Change is taking compassion beyond our doors and into the community.

Together with Fracht, we will be reaching out to people living on the streets, serving warm soup and bread and providing small care bags with some essential items.

But today isn't only about what we're handing out. It's about the people receiving it.

People with stories.
People with struggles.
People with dreams that may have been buried beneath circumstances.
People who deserve to be treated with dignity, kindness and respect.

A meal may only fill a stomach for a little while. A care bag may only meet a need for a day, but being seen, being acknowledged and being treated with compassion can stay with someone much longer.

Today, we get to remind someone:
“You matter. We see you. You haven't been forgotten.”

A huge thank you to Fracht for partnering with us and helping us take this outreach into the community.

Because sometimes making a difference doesn't require us to change the whole world. Sometimes it starts with showing up for one person.
