Johannesburg was built by migrants ("Wenala"),It is a fact that many South Africans ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ will not want to hear.
โ€‹When gold was discovered in Johannesburg in 1886, it triggered a labor demand that the local South African population alone couldn't meet (due to low wages and dangerous conditions).
The Chamber of Mines established the Witwatersrand Native Labour Association (WNLA) widely known as Wenela to cast a massive recruitment net across the subcontinent.
Men were recruited by the hundreds of thousands from Mozambique ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฟ , Lesotho ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ธ , Malawi ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ผ (then Nyasaland), Zimbabwe ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ (then Southern Rhodesia) and Botswana ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ผ .This system kept men away from their families for 12 to 18 month contracts, housing them in single-sex mine compounds.
The wealth of Johannesburg was quite literally built on the cheap, exploited labor of these regional neighbors.
Basotho men from Lesotho became legendary for their highly specialized, incredibly dangerous skill in shaft-sinking blasting and digging the vertical tunnels thousands of meters into the earth before the main mining teams could even begin.
This migration issue started almost 150 years ago. See less

Even during the battle agaist apartheid, it was not a clear cut; there were those who were indifferent, there were those who were sceptical and there were those who opposed. However, the majority of the people understood that we had a serious problem that we can no longer ignore as a people.

Today, people look at south africa from afar and see a beautiful country with a beautiful democracy and very easy laws, but they do not know what it takes to build and to maintain such standards of the country. Battles have to be fought every now and then with the government that gets too comfortable and become corrupt and start looting the future of the nation. Battles have to be fought every now and then amongst ourselves as a nation agaist those who may lose their patriotism and try to destroy the country from within. It takes constant vigilance and constant battles to keep south africa as beautiful and free as she is.

To migrants from african countries who are just looking to migrate from their countries into South Africa for opportunities, breaking the laws of South Africa is not a big deal. To them, Africa should be lawless for them to get what they want. However, to south Africans, a lawless country, is a dead country. Law and order is what keeps south Africa as beautiful and functional. If south africa loses law and order, soon, south Africans will become economic refugees in other countries like Zimbabweans, mozambicans, Nigerians and everyone else. Those countries did not begin where they are today, they once were functional countries with law and order. Somewhere in their 50/60 years of independence, they allowed their laws to be eroded and replaced with chaos and today, they cannot even live in the countries of their forefathers. What attracts them to south Africa today is how law and order is still intact and how everything and everyone still follow the law.

We have spoken extensively about the crimes and lawlessness brought intosouth africa through illegal migration: we have spoken about how illegal migrants from Nigeria have introduced our country to horrible crimes like dealing drugs, human trafficking, prostition and house highjackings. Mozambicans and Zimbabweans have brought illegal mining from their countries into South Africa, including more crimes like robbery, murder car highjackings for cross-border sales, elicit ci******es and other goods. Illigal Zimbabweans and mozambicans have also significantly contributed in eroding south Africa's labour laws by providing cheap labour in the country, which contribute to south Africans being overlooked for employment. We have seen how everyone from everywhere used the kindness of South Africa and south Africans to come and do all sorts of of crimes in the country.

With all of these undesirable crimes brought by illegal immigration in south africa, all south Africans would agree that we have an existential threat to the survival of the country and the nation of south africa. There is no doubt that, if this is allowed to persist and grow as it has been in the last 20 years, we will soon not have a country to call home, as all illegal migrants from Zimbabwean, mozambique and everyone else illegal in the country obviously don't. For a person to leave their country and enter a foreign country illegally without any means of survival, it is obvious that they do not consider their country as a liveable home anymore.

It is in this context that it doesn't make sense to see some south Africans who still don't understand what is happening rightnow and why we are all united in the cleanup of illegal migrants in south Africa. They don't understand that we are at that point again where we need to save south africa as a nation.

You can support Julius malema and his politics as much as our democracy allows, but you need to support your country first because that is your patriotic duty. Your country is all you have and you have to protect it with all that you are. The will and the well-being of the people of of South africa must take prioriry

SOUTH AFRICA. FOREIGN SHOPS ARE CLOSING. NOW WHAT?

Everyone is celebrating.
Spaza shops closed. Containers seized. Somali shops locked. Ethiopian shops raided.
Operation Dudula says victory. Politicians say progress.

But here is the real question:
Are South Africans ready to run those shops tomorrow?

THE TRUTH NO ONE WANTS TO SAY:

1. A SHOP IS NOT A FLAG
You cannot run a business on anger.
A shop needs stock. Cash for stock.
A shop needs suppliers. Who delivers to townships on credit?
A shop needs rent. Electricity. Security. Point of sale machine. Tax number.
A shop needs to open 14 hours a day. 7 days a week.
Who is ready for that on Monday?

2. WHY FOREIGNERS WON
They work as families. Brother sleeps in the shop. Cousin does deliveries. Wife runs the till.
They buy in bulk. 10 shops order one truck of rice. Price drops.
They live cheap. No DSTV. No weekend tavern. Profit gets reinvested.
They run credit systems. Your gogo buys bread today. Pays pension day. Book system. Trust system.
They protect each other. One shop gets robbed. 20 shops close tomorrow. Whole community feels it.

3. WHERE IS THE SOUTH AFRICAN PLAN
Government closed the shops. Good.
But where is the stock?
Where is the R50,000 loan to fill the shelves?
Where is the wholesale depot owned by locals?
Where is the business training in Zulu and Sotho?
Where is the police who stop tsotsis from taking your first weekโ€™s takings?

If there is no plan, here is what happens next:
Shop closes today.
Community has no bread tomorrow.
Prices go up at Pick n Pay.
Taxi fare goes up to get there.
Next week, new foreigner opens same shop. New name. New cousin.
And we protest again.

THE REAL SOLUTIONS:

1. FUNDING
SEFA loans take 6 months. Banks want collateral.
We need Stokvel for Business. 10 people put R5000 each. R50,000 startup.
We need Black owned wholesale. Buy direct from farmers. Cut out middleman.
We need spaza grants. Not RDP houses. RDP shops. Government gives you stock once. You pay back from profit.

2. EDUCATION
Run free courses in townships. How to price. How to order. How to do stock take.
Teach book system. Teach mobile payment. Teach SARS basics.
No English degree needed. Just Grade 10 maths and discipline.

3. PROTECTION
CPF must protect local shops like they protect malls.
One spaza robbery must be treated like CIT heist.
Because that shop feeds 200 families.

4. SYSTEMS
Local shops must unite. One buying group. One security group. One delivery van.
Stop competing. Start cooperating.
If 50 shops buy together, they beat foreigner prices.

TO THE YOUTH:
You want to take the economy back?
Then wake up at 5am. Clean the shop. Serve customers. Say thank you.
No drinking on duty. No phone while people wait. No closing because it is hot.
Business is war. Every day.

TO GOVERNMENT:
Closing shops is easy. Building businesses is hard.
If you do not fund locals to replace foreigners, you are creating hunger.
Hunger creates crime. Crime destroys everything.

FINAL QUESTION:
We removed the foreigner.
Who will sell the bread?
If the answer is nobody, then we did not win.
We just closed the economy.

South Africans, the space is open.
The excuses are finished.
The fridge is empty.
The children are watching.

Drop a fire if you are ready to work.
Tag a South African who can run a shop.
Ask them: Do you have a plan or just an opinion?
If they have a plan, we support them.
If they have only anger, the shop stays closed.

Its a conflict resolution tactic used by some of the best leaders in business called the empty chair technique - Google it
Learnt about it in Business class since high school. Evidently very effective.
He just did it in public by mistake due to the pressure of the moment.
You're welcome.

They identify you long before the world knows your name.

They study your pain, your hunger, your ambition, and your desperation to be seen.
They promise you power, protection, relevance, and a seat at the table.
They invest in you, not because they love you, but because you are useful to their mission.

They put microphones in your hands, cameras before your face, and flood the public with your image until people begin to believe you are untouchable.

They manufacture influence around you and make you feel chosen.
But history has always warned Pan-Africanists about this cycle.
The moment their interests are secured, the same people who elevated you can abandon you without mercy.
The applause disappears.
The protection vanishes.
The calls stop coming.

And suddenly, the person once celebrated becomes isolated, exposed, and disposable.
Africa has seen this pattern too many times โ€” individuals used as tools against their own people, only to later discover they were never truly respected, only strategically useful.

Colonial systems mastered this game: reward loyalty temporarily, exploit visibility, achieve political or economic goals, then discard the very people they once praised.

That is why true Pan-African consciousness teaches dignity, self-awareness, and independence.
Because any popularity built on manipulation eventually collapses under humiliation.

When people allow themselves to become instruments for agendas they do not fully control, they may enjoy the spotlight for a season, but the darkness that follows can be brutal.

The embarrassment waiting ahead is not even fully awake yet โ€” it is still doing push-ups and drinking Moโ€™Faya ๐Ÿคง๐Ÿคง

Tonight we sleep on this very painful reality depucted by Zimdaily catoonist. An recently awarderd his son a multi-million dollar prime land at a wedding. Meanwhile ordinary people who have taken years to acquire pieces of land and have taken years to build "poor looking structures" have been getting those homes destroyed by the same sighting settlements. Meanwhile the same want to pass a bill to keep them in power and get some of them to power ! For that, they want the support of the poor people whose homes they are ! ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”. This is an error!

Good night! ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

You can relocate all undocumented African foreigners by tomorrow. Their absence won't make space for additional jobs or eliminate crime. Their absence wonโ€™t prevent our fathers, uncles, brothers, or cousins from abusing, ra**ng, and murdering women and children. Their nonexistence won't reduce alcoholism, gambling, and substance abuse. Their lack of presence won't prevent the drug cartels from transporting drugs throughout the country. Their lack will not generate employment. Their lack will not enhance the standard of public education. Their lack will not restore the deteriorating infrastructure. Their lack won't resolve the death zones that characterize many of our streets. Their absence won't resolve the mismanagement in local government. The state is the one that should be held responsible. Channel your anger towards the government. Make your political representatives in government answerable for their actions. Cease the dissemination of hatred and halt the incitement of violence!I mention African nationals as they are an effortless target for you. You appear to be the least affected by the undocumented and documented Portuguese, Greek, Chinese, Italian, and other Europeans who freely walk these streets, with some infamous for being the leaders of various illegal activities
