We wrapped up our celebrations at Tosca Sports Ground, joined by the Minister of Agriculture Willie Aucamp and North West MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development Madoda Sambatha, as we commemorated *World Food Day* under the theme of Innovate Today. Nourish Tomorrow🥗🌱

Together, we spread hope and made a difference by distributing food parcels to the Tosca community, reinforcing the importance of fighting hunger and ensuring that vulnerable households have access to food.

Because everyone deserves access to nutritious food and a healthier future! 🤝💚

Promoting Healthy Living Across Generations 🏋️🌱

As part of our National Food Nutrition Week Commemoration, the Green Development Foundation (GDF), through Buti Green, continued the journey at Thusang Bagodi Service Club with the Elderly Hour with Buti Green programme.

The session brought together physical activity, nutrition awareness and community engagement, encouraging the elder people to prioritise their health and wellbeing. Through fun exercises and educational discussions, elderly people were reminded of the importance of staying active, maintaining good personal hygiene and understanding nutrients provided by different foods.

Promoting Healthy Leaving Across Generations 🏋️🌱

As part of our National Food Nutrition Week Commemoration, the DSD and Green Development Foundation (GDF), through Buti Green, continued the journey at Thusang Bagodi Service Club with the Elderly Hour with Buti Green programme.

The National Greening Champion, Buti Green, has arrived at the Bray Community Nutrition and Development Centre, our first stop in commemorating National Food Nutrition Week!🥳

This visit highlights the important connection between good nutrition, food security and healthy communities. 🥕🌿 Through raising awareness about healthy eating, the value of planting trees, sustainable food practices and nutritious meals, Buti Green aims to encourage communities to make informed choices that support their well-being.
