Leandi's Rescue Mission Leandi's Rescue Mission 277-561NPO is a small shelter based in Kalbaskraal.

Our mission is to provide basic medical services to the animals in the surrounding areas like Wesbank Malmesbury, Abotsdale and Kalbaskraal. Leandi's Rescue Mission 277-561NPO is a small shelter/ rehabilitation centre for neglected and sick dogs.We do outreach work in Abbotsdale, Wesbank and Kalbaskraal. We help the communities with sterilizations of their pets, vaccinations, deworming and other

basic care.Our aim is to educate the communities on much needed animal care, to report sick, injured or abused animals in time before it is too late.We will also do mass Pitbull Education through School Educationals and house to house visits , as this is a massive problem in the area where this breed gets mistreated, chained, and bred out of control and fought with.Our aim is to promote better animal ownership and to keep as many animals and owners together where positive changes is be made. Vlekkie's front leg was amputated successfully. He is recovering quite fine. He might be able to go home soon.

We still need to pay his bill! Please help with any donation towards the bill!🙏

Vlekkie was hit by a car on Wednesday!

His leg is broken up into his shoulder and will most likely result in an amputation.

Quote on the amputation is between R4500 and R5500 at Malmesbury Animal Hospital Group. He has been taken up and given pain medication.

Please help us help this boy🙏!
We could not leave him in pain!

Guess who found a home?

MAXWELL!

At last! We waited about a month before doing this post, because we didn't want to get too excited too quickly, in case things did not work out.

But it was love at first sight (or shall we say jump) for Boetie and his children. There was already a fight between the kids with whom Maxwell was going to sleep at night with🤭! The kind of fights we want to hear!

Maxwell my heart is so happy for you! You waited so so long and now you have found your perfect forever home!

🐾We need R360(per 20kg) x 2 per week of dog food.

🐾Wages for our petsitter to keep the dogs in check when I am out for this week: R1000

🐾We need to buy stock of rice, vegetables and petmince to keep our old dogs happy and fed

First of we just want to say thank you for your continuous support!

We would like to stock up on rice and vegetables and petsmince especially for our golden oldies. Age is really catching up with them and they only deserve the best comfort food!

🐾‼️We need help to stock up on food and pay rent please‼️🐾

We were able to buy one bag of food so far and still need to pay rent and wages as Leandi needs to go out to farms for her studies. She is pushing herself hard to finish her studies by the end of the year.

Thank you for your continuous support and shares each months! We appreciate each one of you! As our furkids get adopted our needs are getting less and less. We now use only 2x 20kgs of Bambi per week.🐶🐕

●Our dogs do NOT get along with cats. Do not apply if you have a cat.
●We do NOT have puppies. Our dogs are all ages 4 and up.
● They are all Africanus mixes, mom was a dog, dad was a dog.
●We do not adopt out outside of the Western Cape.
●Do NOT apply if your whole household is not in aggreement to getting another dog.
●We are closing down, thus we need forever homes and people that can financially cope with another animal. NO FOSTERS.

♡ We have a 1 week turnaround time to finish the process of adopting.
♡ We request that you do the effort to come meet the dog you are interested in.
♡ The information per dog is on everyones leaflet. Additional information can be communicated through whatsapp.
♡ We do, do introductions and time for the dog to settle in.
♡ Sleeping inside is a MUST.
