JM BUSHA 54 for Peace & Unity We hope to help build a Peaceful, Unified, Accountable and Responsible African society through education, arts, culture, music and sports.

JM Busha 54 Races for Peace & Unity in Africa (JM BUSHA 54Races) is a non-profit organisation (NPO), Reg No. 2016/119329/08, registered in the Republic of South Africa. We wish to engage and enroll individuals and institutions as signatories to actively promote and pledge for peace, unity, accountability & responsibility at all levels of society & government - as tools to prevent the creation of an unstable society. JM BUSHA 54 RACES' vision is to see and have a peaceful, prosperous united people of Africa.

Today, on 21 September, the world marks the International Day of Peace.
Today, amidst staggering volatility, the search for peace feels overwhelming- but it has never been more urgent.
Peace is more than the absence of war; it is the foundation necessary to collectively tackle humanity's challenges. It is the lived experience of safety, dignity, opportunities and cooperation in our daily lives.
“On this International Day of Peace let us be inspired but the courage of those who champion peace in neighbourhoods, classrooms and communities. And let's call on world leaders to invest in a peaceful future for all people.”
-UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres
The theme this year is “Invest in Peace- For Everyone, Everywhere, Everyday.”
You can invest in peace in the following ways:
• Give your time to help someone else.
• Lend your voice to drive positive change.
• Use your platform to promote a cause or tell a story of peace and hope.
• Become an Ambassador of Peace by signing and donating to the Peace Pledge.
Victim, victims.
There should be no other victims.
Victims of economic and political power,
and victims of gender abuse.
Take a stand against victimisation

The recent killing of women in the Ekurhuleni area is deeply upsetting and is a stark reminder of femicide and the fact that women are not safe in South Africa.

It is not on women to be in constant fear of violence against them and the need for extensive protection to go about normal daily tasks.

Women should be free to walk. Women should be free to run. Women should be free to go home. Women deserve to be in a free society that raises citizens on values, morals, equality and the respect of other humans and beings.

We call for the right to safety, security, dignity and life! We call for social reform! We call for Peace!
