📢 Have your say on proposed changes to tourist transport regulations.

The South African Department of Transport has published draft amendments to the National Land Transport Regulations for public comment.

The proposals aim to simplify accreditation and operating licence processes for tourist transport operators, reduce duplicated paperwork and remove the separate vehicle certification process.

For the business events sector, reliable transport is essential to a positive delegate experience. SAACI encourages members, transport partners and tourism stakeholders to review the draft and contribute practical feedback.

We are proud to welcome Dr. Pali Lehohla to the SAACI National Annual Conference 2026 speaker line-up.
