Basadi Bakopane Guided by principles that focus on women empowerment, we are planning to align ourselves with Govt interventions that seek to advance and empower women

The core of what makes up Basadi Bakopane is the provision of a networking, coaching and support space for Women with Purpose to lift each other up into living a purpose driven life, whether in their careers where they choose to work, or in their women owned businesses or their community upliftment programmes. My aspiration is to see a South Africa where women support each other to grow their busi

nesses and careers, support communities, to improve overall state of the economy. In my programmes Confident girl child which is aimed at young girls, I work on providing the care, support, learning and social skills to equip girls who are abandoned, orphaned or those who co,e from seriously disadvantaged communities, become confident enough to believe thy can break the cycle and that their not their past or their circumstance. Through the Women with Purpose programme I work with women who own business or those that aspire to own them, by providing the networking platforms, delivering the right support and information to enable them to succeed if they choose to apply the learning, to ensure that they themselves grow other women thereby increasing the circles of influence.

For years, my passion has been creating opportunities for women and young people who are often overlooked, yet full of potential.

I have seen how one opportunity, one skill, or one connection can change the trajectory of a person’s life.

That is why I am excited about Basadi Bakopane’s partnership with ImpactHER. Together, we are helping connect more women and youth across South Africa to digital skills opportunities that can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and economic participation.

Community development is not just about programmes. It is about people. It is about ensuring that talent is not wasted because of a lack of access.

In Orange Farm, many women and children face hunger every single day — and the festive season can feel even heavier when there’s little to share at home.

At Basadi Bakopane, we’re putting together Christmas hampers filled with non-perishable food items for women-led households and children in need — and we’d appreciate your help

What you can donate: tinned food, pasta, rice, maize meal, long-life milk, powdered milk , cereal, cooking oil, any other items that would help
