Africa's First Green Container Community Centre Our Non Profit is Building Africa's First Green Container Community Centre We were ready to accelerate growth. To which communities?

Our Non Profit organization had expanded modestly over the past few years; it remained heavily concentrated in and around its original demographics. Encouraged by the impact our current operations were having, we wanted to serve more youth and kids. While this growth imperative was clear, the details remained nebulous: How should they grow? With which set of training programs? What changes would i

t have to make to our current organization to support this growth? How much funding would we need to sustain the growth and not be dependent on monthly donations. Our main aim is to self fund our NPO by Investing in the youth and in return they become a life time partner of our NPO and contribute back to the foundation on a monthly basis. Our organisation embarked on an intensive strategic planning process plan to clearly map out how we are going to achieve this mammoth task

•For the past 5 years the Care Nine Foundation has grown into one of the leading NPO’s in the surrounding communities providing educational, trauma assist, woman abuse workshops and employment training programs.
•Currently we serve over 1000 youth in 5 communities. Yet, there are over 600,000 youth in these various communities. We cannot reach all but our aim is to reach as many we can.
•As a result of this process, we have a short, medium and long-term vision for the organization -A clear articulation of what we call a Theory of Change -A 3-year regional growth plan centred on core programs -A streamlined set of metrics to track progress -A plan for a systematic, longitudinal evaluation

The Care Nine Foundation has a strong track record for helping high-school dropouts and unemployed youth make successful transitions to adulthood. The Care Nine Foundation’s Theory of Change lays out how its services help participants transition successfully to adulthood and into a sustainable workplace that will make him/her a responsible individual.
