🎓 You Don't Need to Have Your Life Figured Out at 18

One of the biggest myths young people believe is that if you don't get into university immediately or land your dream job after matric, you've failed.

The truth is:
✅ Some people start with university.
✅ Some begin with TVET College.
✅ Some take a gap year.
✅ Some find employment first.
✅ Some build a business.
✅ Some discover their purpose years later.

Your journey is not a race, it's a process.

What matters most is that you keep learning, keep improving your skills, and keep moving forward. Every certificate, every volunteer opportunity, every short course, every internship, and every lesson you learn is building your future.

Never compare your Chapter 1 to someone else's Chapter 10.

Your future is created by the decisions you make today, not by where you started.

Before you come to university know that we have 2 types of degrees.

An academic degree (Your BSc) and a professional degree(MBCHB,BEng,LLB,BEd) difference between the 2 is that one is “work ready” and has a direct entry into a specific profession e.g,
BEng—Engineer
LLB—Lawyer
Bed—Teacher
BNurs- Nurse and Midwife

the South African job market favours professional degrees more so know what you are doing❤️ [copied]

✅ National Senior Certificate.
✅ Admission Points Score (APS) of 30.
✅ Mathematics: Level 4 (50-59%). Mathematical literacy is not acceptable.
✅ English (Home or First Additional Language): Level 4 (50-59%).
