Imagine.nation is a Voluntary Organisation founded by young South Africans with a firm belief that every person out there has the ability to change the world in a positive way. Our current pillars of focus are education and entrepreneurship. We are in the process of implementing computer-based mathematics programmes in underprivileged communities. However, our strategy is to implement such program
mes in schools that are in a more fortunate position and have the ability to lend a helping hand to schools in their immediate surroundings that do not have access to the same level of infrastructure. From our entrepreneurship wing, we implement programmes that recruit unemployed individuals, train them according to our custom-made, business start-up curriculum and subsequently start businesses for our graduates. We go on to consult such businesses to ensure they are as sustainable as possible. These businesses keep all the profit they make which goes to sending children to school and putting food on the table. We offer life coaching to our entrepreneurs to ensure they are using their profit in a way that most benefits them and their families.
