The South African Aids Foundation Reports Significant Progress and New Efforts to Draw in Sponsors and Donors
July 2025, Durban, South Africa The AIDS Foundation of South Africa (AFSA) is pleased to announce a number of strategic successes and continuing benchmarks that demonstrate its expanding influence in South African communities.
Important Accomplishments: Increased Mobile X-Ray Capability
Eight digital X-ray vans have been supplied by AFSA, filling important gaps in HIV and TB diagnostic screening in underprivileged and rural areas.

Empowerment via Inclusion of People with Disabilities
AFSA's New Venture Creation initiative, which aims to promote independence and entrepreneurship, awarded diplomas to more than 100 individuals with disabilities.
Emergency Response by SPSF
Working with local partners, the Small Project Support Fund quickly provided dignity packs and basic supplies to 126 flood-affected families in Lamontville.
Food Security and Holistic Nutrition
By equipping PWD participants with sustainable gardening skills, AFSA's food garden training program improves local nutrition and food security.

Honoring Excellence
In recognition of the foundation's commitment and leadership, AFSA presented personnel with Long Service, Impactful Employee, Educational Achievement, and Vision Awards during its Year-End Review.
