Celebrating 30 Years of EISA πŸŽ‰ | JAE Special Edition Launch 🌟

In our 30th anniversary year, the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) is honoured to partner with the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) in the launch of the Journal of African Elections Special Edition on Political Party Funding on 6 May 2026.

Since its establishment in 2003, the Journal of African Elections has provided a critical platform for credible, African driven knowledge on elections, electoral governance, and democratic reform across the continent.

EISA has worked alongside the IEC since its founding in 1996, supporting South Africa’s electoral processes and contributing to research, policy dialogue, and institutional strengthening over three decades.

This Special Edition reflects that enduring partnership and our shared commitment to advancing transparency, accountability, and democratic resilience through rigorous scholarship and practice.
