At Joburg Child Welfare, protecting children is at the heart of everything we do.
Through our social work and child protection services, we work every day to identify children at risk, provide support and intervention and help keep them safe from harm.

Human trafficking may be a global issue but awareness starts in our own communities. By learning the signs, speaking up and protecting vulnerable children, we can all play a part in preventing exploitation.

Every girl deserves the chance to grow up feeling safe, supported and free to dream big. Yet many girls continue to face challenges that put their wellbeing and future at risk.

Every child deserves to grow up surrounded by love. To have someone cheering them on, comforting them when they fall, celebrating the little moments and reminding them that they belong.

For one little boy, that dream has come true. He has found his forever family and a place to call home. 💙
His journey is a reminder that adoption changes lives. Not just for a child, but for the family that opens their hearts and their home. There are still many children waiting for that same chance.
