Please hide my identity. My sister-in-law and I were constantly competing without realizing it. We compared our homes, our children, and even our marriages. One day my sister-inlaw passed away, and I then realized that we spent all the time competing instead of loving each other. All the effort we put in trying to look better than each other. All the money we spent unbudgeted for. All the backhanded compliments we gave each other. All in the name of being better than each other. I regret so much that we wasted our precious time focusing on things that were not important. I wish she had a second chance to life so we can fix things between us.

Hi Auntie please hide my identity.Ever since we got married, my husband always took his mother's side during disagreements. I felt lonely and unheard. Instead of arguing, I started communicating calmly and respectfully. It took time, but he eventually understood my feelings. Today our marriage is much stronger because we learned to listen to each other.
