Toastmasters empowers you to become a confident speaker, effective communicator, & strong leader.

Whether you're a seasoned speaker or just starting, Toastmasters provides a supportive and encouraging environment for your personal & professional growth. The Randburg Toastmasters Club was established in September 1973 under the Toastmasters International umbrella. Meetings are held twice monthly for approximately 2 hours where members participate by delivering speeches or providing leadership s

upport roles. There are no 'instructors', but feedback is provided in the form of constructive commentary to assist in improving all members' public speaking, listening, leadership and networking skills.

don't know what it is about or how it can assist you? We will be hosting our first virtual personal development
and networking event of the year on Thursday 23 January 2025 from
19:00-21:00 CAT via Zoom Platform.

We have selected the 23 January 2025 as it will give members and guests grace to settle into the new year before we get started on our events. We will return to our regular schedule of hosting our events every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from February onwards.

Last week Thursday, 21 November 2024 we hosted our virtual personal development and networking event. Our final event of 2024 finished on a positive note since everyone was thrilled to be a part of it.

Our session started with brief introductions, and continued with the three segments you would find at any Toastmasters’s event across the world: prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and feedback.

Randburg Toastmasters hosts its personal development and networking events on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month from 19:00 CAT, alternating between in-person and online each time.

We look forward to our first event for the year which will take place virtually on Thursday, 23 January 2025.

Last week Thursday, 7 November 2024, we were preparing to host our personal development and networking event at the Mercure Hotel, Randburg,Johannesburg. Believe us when we say the energy in the room during our in-person sessions is out of this world—visit us to experience it for yourself!

Our session kicked off with brief introductions, followed by an induction of our latest shareholder, Dewald van der Wal (Pic 3).
The session continued with the three segments you would find at any Toastmasters’s event across the world: prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and feedback.

Last week Thursday, 17 October 2024 we hosted our virtual personal development and networking event. The energy at our sessions is always electric, whether we meet in-person and online and we look forward to it most.

With more than 20 guests and shareholders in attendance, our session started with brief introductions, and continued with the three segments you would find at any Toastmasters’s event across the world: prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and feedback.

We also honored our shareholders for their outstanding contributions to the organization and for surpassing milestones by hosting our Hall of Fame.

Last week Thursday, 3 October 2024, we were preparing to host our personal development and networking event at the Mercure Hotel, Randburg,Johannesburg. Believe us when we say the energy in the room during our in-person sessions is out of this world—visit us to experience it for yourself!

We had two of our speakers for the evening, Elizabeth Espach, Molisa Cheda and Tshegofatso Moilwe, who delivering their prepared speeches. Our club also hosted several guests, and we cannot wait to get them started on their personal development journey.
