We are at Leneha-Tumisi Secondary - Nquthu - Kwazulu-Natal.

Salaam Foundation has provided support to a Matric Boot Camp study session at Leneha Tumisi Secondary by supplying part of the food items for their 1 month stay.

The school in Nquthu, rural KZN, is known locally as the Chief's School and is part of our South African projects in education.

This intervention was in response to the school's request for support for their Grade 12 Camp.

On behalf of the school, Principal M.A Cebekhulu expressed sincere gratitude, noting that our support will not only ensure the smooth running of the camp but will boost learner morale and create an environment conducive to learning.

Thank you to our donors for making this possible. You are feeding more than bodies, you are fuelling futures.

Salaam Foundation had the privilege of accompanying the Rehabilitation Department of the Hillbrow Community Health Centre on a special outing to the Johannesburg Zoo, where we provided some snacks for the children 🍎🍌

While negative headlines often surround government departments, this group of dedicated healthcare workers—under team leader Nabeelah Karolia, consistently care and support children with various disabilities through vital therapy sessions weekly.

A massive shoutout to this dedicated team of staff and the children’s remarkable mums for everything you do. You truly are the light that keeps these children shining.

Thank you for allowing Salaam Foundation to be part of this special day.

From Seed To Plate At Flamingo Primary - Lenasia

Salaam Foundation shared hands-on farming & agriculture lessons as part of our Education, Empowerment & Development (EED) programme.

Our novice farmers learnt:

•Types of vegetables
•What is a seed
•What a seed needs to grow
•How germination works
•How to care for a garden

From classroom to garden to kitchen - teaching food security, self-reliance and love for the land.

The learners were amazing - curious, engaged, and ready to grow their own meals!

In the heart of Malawi 🇲🇼 , hope arrived on a truck.

Salaam Foundation was on the ground distributing food hampers to hundreds of families - offering not just food, but a reminder that they are not forgotten.

But our journey didn’t end there.

We visited the High-Risk Post-Natal Ward, where young mothers and their newborns face incredibly difficult circumstances.

With your support, we delivered Patient Care & Support Packages filled with essentials for mothers and babies, along with Sadaqah envelopes - a small gesture of love and support from South Africa to Malawi.

From our hands, to their hearts.
This is Salaam Foundation.
