Psalm 20

1. The LORD answer you in the day of trouble!
The name of the God of Jacob protect you!
2. May he send you help from the sanctuary
and give you support from Zion!
3. May he remember all your offerings
and look with favor on your burnt sacrifices!
4. May he grant you your heart's desire
and fulfill all your plans!

Deuteronomy 8:17–18 “Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’ But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth.”

Success can be more dangerous than failure. When things go well, it becomes easy to quietly credit yourself. You worked hard and planned wisely. You made good decisions. All of that may be true. But Moses reminds Israel that even ability comes from God. If things go well in your life, always remember to acknowledge God for the strength and opportunity that came.

3. Proverbs 19:21: God’s Will Prevails

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.

We make plans, and God, so patient and kind, often lets us. I imagine Him smiling, knowing that even when we can’t see it yet, His way is better. He allows us to discover that truth slowly, through the gentle process of walking with Him.

This verse is both humbling and freeing. It reminds us that no matter how carefully we map out our lives God’s purpose will always prevail. When things don’t go as planned, it’s not necessarily failure—it may be divine redirection.

If your path has taken unexpected turns, don’t lose heart. Those detours may be the very roads God uses to lead you exactly where He wants you to be.

In a world obsessed with intellect, power, and achievements, Jeremiah 9:23–24 brings a revolutionary perspective: true greatness lies not in what we know or accomplish, but in knowing God. This profound truth frees us from the need for validation, reminding us that our identity and security stem not from our resumes, insights, or influence, but from our relationship with Him. When we shift our focus to what truly matters, we discover that knowing God is the ultimate measure of worth.

Ecclesiastes 5:10 “He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income; this too is vanity.”

This verse is not only about money. It is about the pattern of always thinking the next thing will finally settle you. Yet satisfaction keeps moving just out of reach. Solomon is not condemning work or achievement. He is exposing the illusion that accumulation leads to peace. The heart does not calm down just because it has more. Search your satisfaction in Jesus and nothing else.

Proverbs 14:23

All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty," emphasizing that tangible effort yields rewards, while excessive speech or idleness results in lack, connecting action with success and talk with poverty. It teaches that diligent work creates abundance, but simply talking about goals or needs without action leads to nothing but want or spiritual emptiness, a concept echoed by phrases like "talk is cheap".

Matthew 21:22
“And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.”
When you pray, God hears. When you listen, God speaks. When you believe, God works.

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." - Luke 6:38

THE KEY MESSAGE IN HABAKKUK 2:2-3

(V. 2): God instructs Habakkuk to make His revelation so clear and legible on tablets that even a fast runner (a messenger) can quickly read and understand it, ensuring the message spreads accurately.

For an Appointed Time (V. 3): The vision isn't for "now"; it's for a future, specific time (the "end") when it will be fulfilled and "speak" (come to pass).

Wait Patiently (V. 3): Even if it seems slow or delayed ("tarries"), the vision is certain to happen ("it will not lie," "it will not be behindhand").

The Just Live by Faith (Context): This passage sets the stage for the famous line in verse 4, "the righteous shall live by his faith," linking the promise of God's certain coming with the necessity of trusting Him.

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.
