Growing in Confidence and Believing in Herself ❤️

Before joining Outreach Foundation’s peer-to-peer education programme, Trish Moyo struggled with reading and found it difficult to associate with other children. These challenges made her shy and affected her confidence.

Being part of the programme has helped Trish see herself differently. She says it has boosted her confidence and helped her realise that she knows more than she thought she did. She also feels more loved and cared for by the people around her.

Looking ahead, Trish is determined to finish Grade 12 and achieve her dream of becoming a social media manager.

With the right support and encouragement we can help young people believe in themselves and recognise their potential.

We’ve joined the 30 Day Matched Funding Challenge! 🌍❤️

This October, Outreach Foundation is joining Gold Youth and the New Africa Fund for 30 days of fundraising to support the work we do with young people and communities.

For the next 23 days, we’ll be inviting our community, friends, families, churches, businesses and networks to stand with us and contribute towards creating opportunities for young people.

And there’s an exciting part, eligible funds raised during the challenge will be matched by Gold Youth, helping us reach even more young people through our programmes.

Every contribution matters, whether it’s $1, $10, a business contribution, church support or in-kind support.

Our goal is to raise $20,000, and we’re asking you to be part of the journey.

This is more than a fundraising campaign. It’s about coming together as communities, supporting African-led solutions and investing in the potential of our young people.

🇿🇦 Happy Heritage Day from Outreach Foundation! ❤️

Yesterday, our Hillbrow, Musina and Pretoria offices celebrated Heritage Day by proudly showing off our beautiful cultures and traditions. From traditional outfits to traditional food, it was a day filled with colour, laughter and togetherness. 🥰

In Hillbrow, the team enjoyed a fun-filled day with indigenous games and a traditional lunch. There was lots of laughter, friendly competition and, of course, plenty of fun! 😄

Our Musina team also celebrated with delicious traditional food, while our Pretoria team joined in by wearing their traditional outfits.

It was lovely seeing everyone come together and celebrate what makes us different, while also reminding us of what brings us together. ❤️
