Classroom buddies organisation Classroom Buddies Organisation (CBO) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation. CBO is a register NPO (181-064 NPO) that mentors grade 10, 11 and 12 learners.

The focus of the organisation is based on mentoring and tutoring Grade 9, 10, 11 and 12 high school learners from disadvantaged schools with limited resources. We empower them in order to do well academically

Today, we honour the brave young people of 16 June 1976 whose courage helped shape the South Africa we know today. 🇿🇦

Their fight was about more than education it was about dignity, opportunity, and a better future for generations to come.

At Classroom Buddies Organisation, we continue that legacy by supporting and empowering young people through education, mentorship, skills development, and community upliftment. We believe that when young people are given the right support, they can achieve extraordinary things.

To every learner chasing a dream, every young leader creating change, and every child striving for a brighter future: we see you, we believe in you, and we are cheering you on.

the discussion will unpack how accountable governance, strong institutions, and sustainable financing mechanisms can accelerate Africa’s growth, drive inclusive development, and shape The Africa We Want.

The session will also reflect on key issues facing the continent, including debt sustainability, unemployment, inequality, infrastructure financing, and institutional reform, while exploring how global and continental frameworks such as the SDGs and South Africa’s G20 engagements can support Africa’s development agenda.

Most importantly, this conversation will highlight the critical role of youth leadership, governments, regional institutions, and the private sector in building a resilient and development-oriented Africa

We recently had the opportunity to present at Robinhood Secondary School.

It was a truly engaging session, filled with great energy and active participation from the learners. We had meaningful conversations and created a space where students could listen, ask questions and be part of the discussion.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to connect directly with young people and be present in these spaces.
