🐾 NEW FEEDER NEEDED 🐾
We're looking for someone to help feed a small colony on Friday afternoons.
This is a volunteer position and a commitment that makes a real difference to the lives of these cats.

Feeders provide:
• Dry food and treats
• Clean, fresh water
• Welfare checks
• Basic maintenance of feeding stations
• Trapping when necessary

The colony is fully sterilised and in a safe business area in Northlands, Northriding.

Our cats are looking a little… generously insulated lately. Apparently winter prep means zero self-control and maximum snacks. We prefer the term “big boned” with excellent survival instincts. 🐈❄️

This chatty boy never misses snack time and firmly believes treats should be served early, often, and with enthusiasm.

Still urgently looking for someone to help us with alternative weekend feedings from June 🙏

🚨 URGENT: A Feeder Needed for Our Northlands Feral Cats 🐾

At the end of May, one of our feeders will be leaving us.
That leaves a gap… and for our colony of feral cats in Northlands, a gap doesn’t just mean inconvenience - it means empty bowls and waiting for someone who doesn’t arrive.

Right now, we’re urgently looking for a kind human to step in and help feed 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝.
What helping involves:
🐾 Feeding the colony every second weekend (late afternoon ±16:00)
🐾 Providing dry food (we will discuss food preferences with potential feeders) and soft food treats
🐾 Refreshing clean water
🐾 Replacing blankets/straw when needed
🐾 Keeping an eye on their health and wellbeing

This colony is stable and cared for — all the cats are sterilised, and some have been with us for over 10 years. They’re not adoptable lap cats, but they are full of personality.
There’s the brave one. The shy one. The drama queen. The one who firmly believes they own the entire suburb.
You may not touch them… but they will absolutely come to know you. And you will become part of their world.

The truth is simple: they depend on us.
To them, a feeder arriving isn’t routine, it’s survival.

If you’ve ever wanted to make a real, tangible difference in an animal’s life, this is it. A small commitment, that keeps a whole colony safe, fed, and cared for.
