✨🌸 to a powerful and unforgettable Girls Ignite 2026! 🌸✨

The 16th of May 2026 was a beautiful day dedicated to empowering and celebrating the girl child. Young girls between the ages of 10–16 came together for a day filled with inspiration, learning, confidence-building, and fun. 💕🔥

With impactful sessions led by Lifeline and Dotted O Foundation, the focus was on helping young girls better understand themselves, embrace their worth, and ignite the leadership potential within them from a very young age. 🌟👑

The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy as our amazing Programme Director, Pam Mafu, kept the girls engaged with exciting icebreakers and uplifting moments throughout the day. 🎤✨ The celebration was made even more special with electrifying dance performances by the talented Elangeni Gardens Girls Dance Crew. 💃🔥

Girls Ignite 2026 was more than just an event — it was a platform of hope, empowerment, sisterhood, and growth for future leaders and change-makers. 💖🌍

As we look forward to Girls Ignite 2027, we remain committed to creating safe and empowering spaces where young girls can dream bigger, grow stronger, and lead boldly. ✨👑

Taking it back to a day filled with energy, focus, and pure excitement at our MAM Chess Intercluster Tournament!

The venues across our JHC buildings were alive with anticipation — you could feel it in the air. From the youngest players, just 6 years old, to our confident teens up to 15, every move on the board carried a mix of excitement and nerves. The stakes were high, and the determination even higher!

It was more than just a tournament — it was a beautiful reminder of what the JHC community truly stands for. Not just providing accommodation, but nurturing spaces where young minds grow, talents shine, and communities thrive together.
