The ###II International Mineral Processing Congress (IMPC 2026) officially begins today in Cape Town, as delegates arrive for a week of technical exchange, industry engagement and collaboration.

Registration is underway, with delegates connecting with colleagues and meeting fellow professionals ahead of the congress programme. The day will conclude with a networking and cocktail function, providing an opportunity to establish new connections and reconnect with industry peers.

We look forward to welcoming delegates from across the world to IMPC 2026 and to the discussions and insights that lie ahead.

Sulphur and sulphuric acid are becoming increasingly important to the future of mineral processing, metal production and the wider mining industry.

The SAIMM announces the 10th Sulphur and Sulphuric Acid Conference, taking place from 10–13 May 2027 at Protea Hotel Polokwane Ranch Resort, Polokwane.

The conference will bring together industry experts to discuss developments in sulphur and sulphuric acid markets, production technologies, process efficiency and the growing demand driven by copper, uranium and battery minerals.
