🔹 ENROLLED NURSE
📍 Area: Riverlea & surrounding areas
Requirements include:
• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
• Enrolled Nursing qualification
• Current SANC registration and valid Annual Practising Certificate
• Computer literacy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Nursing experience and experience in substance-abuse treatment will be advantageous.

🔹 ADMINISTRATOR
📍 Area: Riverlea & surrounding areas
Requirements include:
• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
• Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• 1 year or more administrative experience will be advantageous
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and confidentiality
• Afrikaans-speaking candidates will be preferred.

🌿 Employee Wellness Day at Rand Water 🌿

SANCA Central Rand was honoured to be part of the Employee Wellness Day hosted by Rand Water.

The event created a valuable platform for employees to learn about important wellness topics that affect individuals, families, and the workplace. Together with fellow stakeholders, we shared information on substance abuse prevention, while other presenters covered topics including gambling addiction and stress management.

We thank Rand Water for prioritising the wellbeing of its employees and for creating opportunities to promote healthier lifestyles, informed choices, and access to support services.

🌟 Keeping Our Children Active, Safe, and Substance-Free This School Holiday! ⚽🏐

This June school holiday, children in Rosettenville enjoyed an exciting and enriching holiday programme filled with netball, soccer, fun activities facilitated by Sphiwe Ntombela and meaningful conversations about living substance-free facilitated by the Rosettenville KeMoja Team.

Through sport and education, we created a safe space where young people could stay active, build friendships, develop life skills, and learn about making healthy choices. Keeping children positively occupied during the school holidays plays an important role in preventing substance abuse and promoting overall wellbeing.

A heartfelt thank you to our valued partner, the Provincial Department of Sport, Arts, Recreation and Culture, for working alongside SANCA Central Rand to invest in our children and strengthen substance-free communities.

Together, we are empowering the next generation - one child, one family, and one community at a time.

📢 Standing Together Against Underage Drinking

On 26 June 2026 it was International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. In partnership with Aware_ZA, we hosted a successful youth awareness event Golden Harvest Children Rehabilitation Centre in Randburg.

Learners from primary and high schools showcased their knowledge and creativity through art, posters, and oral presentations highlighting the dangers of underage drinking. The event also featured inspiring messages from guest speakers, an informative session on Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and discussions on rehabilitation and the law.

We are proud of every learner, educator, partner, and supporter who contributed to making this day a success. Together, we are empowering young people with the knowledge and confidence to make healthy, alcohol-free choices.

Let's continue working together to protect our youth and build safer, healthier communities.
