What a meaningful visit to Durban! đź’™
Koleinu was privileged to spend time with the Durban Jewish community, engaging with parents, teenagers and communal leaders around one of the issues closest to our hearts - creating safer communities for our children.
From conversations about online and digital safety with teens and parents, to working with communal leadership on safeguarding, accountability and building safe communal spaces, the trip was filled with important conversations, thoughtful questions and a shared commitment to protecting those who are most vulnerable.
Thank you to the Durban community and the Union of Jewish Women for welcoming us so warmly and for recognising that safeguarding is something we all have a role in. A big thank you to our dynamic facilitator Bianca Shimkins who always delivers the SchoolSafe Programme with such energy and skill.
