Believers & Achievers SA (BNA) is a Youth led Organisation based in Johannesburg, that aims to change the mind sets and attitudes of learners in township & rural schools so they may become better generation for our country. Amongst other aspirations, our core theme is to develop character amongst learners, guide them and their fellow school leavers about life after high school and reveal opportuni
ties that they may tap into in an attempt to enhance their lives. Understanding the current realities of our times and generation, we observed that not every learner that matriculates will be absorbed into the formal economy nor make it into Higher Institution of Learning. Which gives rise to the following question: which avenues to success are still open for those who do not make it in the convectional way of getting employed or enrolled into universities and FETs? We, at Believers and Achievers come in at this critical intersection of doubt, we restore belief by bridging the gap of doubt and spreading a message of hope through presenting knowledge and information around opportunities available after high school and alternative paths of active citizenry. We are fortunate to have aligned ourselves with prominent Universities. We are motivated by the work of NGO’s like Harambee and Sci-bono, the latter which has shaped our direction through their level of expertise. We remain focused on youth development by building character through our action, however, small or big. Believers & Achievers is perfectly captured by the following immortal words echoed through the ages “ONLY BELIEVE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE”
