Let Us Grow was born in 1996, at a time where there were no services and support for people living with HIV and AIDS. The organisation was established by an AIDS activist, Rose Thamae. Upon realising that there were no support groups for people living with HIV and AIDS, she set about establishing the first support group in Orange Farm. While running the support groups, the organisation realised th

at there was a dire need for home-based care services. In subsequent years, the organisation has become a key actor in addressing HIV and AIDS through home-based care, counseling and education to men, women, youth and children.
