๐ฏ๏ธ Awareness Post โ Siyakhula Team
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! ๐
The continued loss of womenโs lives in Tembisa and across Ekurhuleni is heartbreaking.
Another woman has lost her life, leaving behind a family, loved ones, dreams and a community that must now live with unimaginable pain.
We cannot become numb to these tragedies.
Gender-Based Violence and Femicide destroy families, communities and futures. Every woman and every girl deserves to live, work, walk and return home SAFELY โ without fear of violence.
As the Siyakhula Team, we stand firmly against GBV and femicide.
๐ STOP THE VIOLENCE
๐ฃ PROTECT WOMEN AND GIRLS
๐ค SUPPORT SURVIVORS
๐ข SPEAK OUT AGAINST GBV
โ๏ธ LET JUSTICE TAKE ITS COURSE
Our thoughts are with the families and communities mourning these women.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
SIYAKHULA TEAM SAYS NO TO GBV.
The government has also urged anyone with information about the Ekurhuleni killings to contact Warrant Officer Elvis Manyike: 082 465 7249 or SAPS Crime Stop: 08600 10111; information can be provided anonymously.
