✔️ Completed or currently completing Matric (Grade 12)

We like to make a meaningful impact

Through the incredible partnership of STET-ORTSA, more schools are being empowered to build future-ready skills, one classroom at a time!
What started as a few training sessions has grown into an exciting journey of discovery. In Term 2, four educators were introduced to teaching Unplugged Coding and Robotics to their Grade 4 learners. Without using computers, the students enthusiastically mastered coding concepts through interactive games, mapping, and problem-solving.
Teacher Maphiri Radebe shared the impact:
"We learned a lot about the practical side... Learners loved the robotics games and learned the terminologies. They need more programs that develop critical skills and creativity."

The Support Teacher Empowerment Trust (STET) is an organization dedicated to transforming education by investing in the people who make the greatest impact in every classroom—teachers. STET Bursary Opportunity for Black South African Women in STEM

Are you a Black South African woman between 18 and 35 years old, pursuing undergraduate studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at UNISA in Education ?The Support Teacher Empowerment Trust (STET) bursary is here to support you!

Eligibility Criteria:

- Black South African woman
- Age: 18-35 years old
- Undergraduate student at UNISA
- Studying in a STEM field

Required Documents:

- Certified copy of valid Matric certificate
- Certified copy of valid Matric results
- Certified copy of latest academic transcript
- Certified copy of valid South African ID
- Motivational letter

Application Process:

Apply online through the STET website or submit a hardcopy application with all required documents. Ensure your application is complete and accurate to avoid disqualification.
