Save the Fourways Bushbabies

Save the Fourways Bushbabies Help save the Fourways Bushbabies! Join us in the fight to say 'NO' to the proposed development 🤬

Save the Fourways Bushbabies has formally registered as a NCP (Not for Profit) organisation. We are raising funds in order to purchase the piece of land known as the "Bushbaby Corridor", in order to preserve this small natural ecosystem that is home to one of the remaining wild Bushbaby colonies in the Fourways area of Johannesburg, as well as the other wild life species that rely on this area for

their survival. Visit our website to learn more about this initiative: https://www.savebushbabies.com

Please consider making a donation and support us to secure this piece of land and to ensure the survival of the flora and fauna in this remaining wild ecosystem.

For the love of our Bushbabies ❤️🐾

Our love for the Fourways bushbabies is at the heart of everything we do. Every tiny life matters. Every rescue is personal.

No two rescues are the same.No two stories are alike. But each one carries the same truth: every bushbaby matters.
Whether injured, displaced, or orphaned, each life we help protect strengthens the future of this species in Fourways.

🌟🐾 Just look at this heartwarming moment! A mother bushbaby breastfeeding her little one.

Bushbabies typically breastfeed their young for about 4 to 6 months. During this time, the mother provides not only nutrition but also essential bonding and socialization for the baby. After weaning, the young bushbabies gradually transition to solid food while still learning important survival skills from their mothers.

Let's celebrate the beauty of nature and the special connections that make our world so incredible! 🌍✨

Save the Fourways Bushbabies!

After a spell of extreme heat, wild storms and strong winds swept through, leading to unfortunate consequences for our new born bushbabies (breeding season). One little Bushbaby fell from its nest and sustained internal injuries.

A huge thank you to Carmen for rushing him to Fourways Vet for care! 🙏❤️

We're incredibly grateful for everyone who supports our mission. Every bit of help counts in our efforts to save these precious Bushbabies.

Every bushbaby matters! 🐾

Celebrating our Birthday Month!
We're kicking it off with an amazing Bushbaby update!

A local resident discovered a baby bushbaby in her garden right next to the , while the mother was anxiously waiting in a nearby tree.

Thanks to Aly’s quick assistance, the baby was gently placed back in the tree, and within moments, Mama bushbaby was there to reunite with her little one!

What a heartwarming way to start November! 👏🐾💕

Raising Awareness for Save the Fourways Bushbabies.

Spreading the word for organization is truly rewarding - it's amazing to receive photos of Bushbabies from far and wide!

By raising awareness, we can protect their habitat - and ensure their future for generations to come!

“We have this family of Bushbabies living here on our property in Fourways. Seeing them come out at dusk is absolutely precious. Thank you for what you guys do for the Bushbabies”.
