Today, on World Refugee Day, we honour the resilience, courage, and determination of millions of displaced people across Africa. 🌍️
Despite the challenges of conflict, climate change, and economic hardship, refugees continue to pursue education, rebuild their lives, and contribute to their communities. Their journeys remind us that talent, leadership, and potential know no borders.

At MINDS, we believe education is a powerful tool for opportunity and transformation. Through the MINDS Scholarship Program, we remain committed to expanding access to learning and leadership opportunities for young Africans across the continent.
Together, let us build an Africa where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Today, South Africa commemorates Youth Day in honour of the brave students of the 1976 Soweto Uprising who stood up against inequality and demanded access to quality education. Their courage became a defining moment in the country's history and a powerful reminder of the role young people play in driving social change.

Today, their legacy lives on in a new generation of young Africans who are leading through innovation, education, entrepreneurship, civic participation, and community action.
May we continue investing in the ideas, leadership, and potential of young people.
Because the future of Africa is not waiting to be built. It is already being shaped by its youth.

On African Border Day, we reflect on the importance of regional integration, free movement, and stronger connections across the continent. Borders should not divide Africa’s potential, but rather serve as bridges for collaboration, trade, culture, and shared progress.
As we continue building a more connected and united Africa, it is essential to strengthen partnerships, encourage cross-border exchange, and create opportunities that empower Africans beyond geographical boundaries.
A united Africa is built through connection, cooperation, and collective vision. ✨

This World Environment Day, we are reminded that the future of Africa and the world depends on how we protect and preserve our environment today.
From climate action and sustainable development to innovation and responsible leadership, every effort towards protecting our planet matters. As young African leaders continue to shape the continent’s future, environmental sustainability must remain at the centre of the conversations and solutions we build together.
Together, we can create a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come. 🌱✨
