Behind some of the little faces at Paws is a girl with her own personality, quirks and needs... and sometimes, special care starts with something as simple as a full bowl.

Soft food is an important part of caring for many of our residents, especially those who need something gentler or more suitable for their individual needs.

With 70+ special-needs cats relying on us, the bowls are filled and emptied every day.

🐾 Did You Know? Rescue Is Only the Beginning...

When a cat arrives at Paws From Heaven, their journey doesn't end with being rescued... that's when our responsibility truly begins. 💜

For our 70+ special-needs residents, every day means making sure they have what they need to feel safe, comfortable and cared for.

From full bowls and clean spaces to medical treatment, medication, shelter and all the everyday running costs behind the scenes, there is a lot that goes into providing a forever home.

These are the things you don't always see when you look at a happy sanctuary cat.

Because behind every peaceful nap, full tummy and contented purr is a commitment to their care, every single day. 🐾💜

A heartfelt thank you to AHFS for running a donation drive for Paws From Heaven, and to all their wonderful customers who purchased and donated goodies for our 70+ special needs cats. 🐱

From treats, cotton wool, bandages and thermometers to a LOT of catnip! 🌿😹

Our cats were treated to a little sweetie this morning... and needless to say, they were very happy!

Thank you for thinking of Paws and for helping spoil our special kitties! ❤️🐾

Today, we’re introducing you to Meryl Rosenberg, a market organiser for Alter Egos and Alternatribe, who has consistently made space for Paws at her markets and welcomed us with open arms. 🐾

But Meryl’s support goes far beyond giving us a place at her markets. She is always willing to help, always ready to lend a hand, and has become someone we know we can count on.
