URGENT VACANCY – SAQCC REGISTERED FIRE TECHNICIANS
📍 Location: Roodepoort, Gauteng
💰 Salary: R12 000 per month (Based on experience and assessment) + Performance Incentives
📈 Salary Review: Increase after successful completion of the 3-month probation period.
Are you a qualified SAQCC Registered Fire Technician looking for your next career opportunity? We are seeking motivated and experienced technicians to join a dynamic team within the fire protection industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
🔥 Install conventional and addressable fire detection systems.
🔥 Install, service and commission fire suppression systems, including gas suppression systems.
🔥 Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and repairs.
🔥 Perform fault finding and diagnose system failures.
🔥 Ensure all work complies with **SANS 1475**, **SANS 10139**, and **SAQCC** regulations.
🔥 Complete service reports, compliance documentation and site inspections.
🔥 Travel for out-of-town projects when required.
Minimum Requirements:
✅ SAQCC Registered Fire Technician (Fire Detection / 1475 Service Technician).
✅ 1–5 years' experience in fire detection and suppression systems.
✅ Valid South African driver's licence.
✅ Must reside in or around Roodepoort/ Gauteng.
✅ Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
✅ Sound knowledge of the OHS Act, SHEQ policies and fire safety standards.
