💫IZA WENAA! 💫

In the spirit of ubuntu and everyday being an act service — the Khayelihle Youth Group, in collaboration with Spirit Champions, conducted a community outreach visit to Ithemba Old Age Home.

The programme commenced with an opening prayer led by Indawo Ephakeme, setting a spirit of compassion and service for the day’s activities.

Following the prayer, members of the youth group assisted in distributing fruit, sandwiches, and snacks to the elderly residents. Beyond the food distribution, the team spent time engaging with the residents through conversations and offering encouragement, companionship, and emotional support.

The outreach was a meaningful demonstration of service, compassion, and community care. It reflected the shared commitment of Khayelihle Youth Group and Spirit Champions to honour, uplift, and show appreciation for the elderly, while fostering a spirit of Ubuntu and strengthening community bonds.

IZA WENA !! ✨💫

On 11 April 2026, The Youth Wing successfully hosted a hiking and team building day at Klipriviersberg Nature reserve, fostering physical wellness, unity, and social connection among 24 participants.

The event featured a 2-hour hike and team-building activities, with members embodying collective responsibility by supporting peers to ensure full inclusion.

Now we are calling all the youth to participate in this fun and engaging activity!
