Sultan Bahu Centre

Sultan Bahu Centre Sultan Bahu Centre is a community-based NGO with projects ranging across the full ambit of social welfare needs. Like our page to find out more.

We are a community based NGO/NPO that strives to serve the social welfare needs of the community for over 35 years. Our projects range from an orphanage/children's home to soup kitchens and feeding schemes, educational facilities and counselling services. We offer specialised healthcare like dialysis and cataract removal operations to indigent persons who would needlessly suffer due to a lack of access to medical care. We also run drug rehabilitation centres and have a home for abandoned, abused and vulnerable women in urgent need of a place of safety. To do all of this, we rely on funding and donations from people who wish to make a difference in the lives of others. Please visit www.sbc.org.za to find out how you can help change the world by uplifting one life at a time.

We meet mothers, fathers, elders, and children everyday who haven’t had fresh bread in days...

For them, a loaf of bread means everything.
It is more than food, it is a moment of relief, a moment of dignity, a moment of knowing that someone cares.

Thank you for helping us put hope on the many tables we serve.

Safe spaces create room for healing. 💚 It’s easy to stay silent when things aren’t going well, but talking to someone can change everything. Through our Time to Heal project, we provide compassionate, easy-to-talk-to counselling to help you navigate life’s challenges, overcome future challenges that may arise, and move forward without repeating past mistakes.
