Sultan Bahu Centre

Sultan Bahu Centre Sultan Bahu Centre is a community-based NGO with projects ranging across the full ambit of social welfare needs. Like our page to find out more.

We are a community based NGO/NPO that strives to serve the social welfare needs of the community for over 35 years. Our projects range from an orphanage/children's home to soup kitchens and feeding schemes, educational facilities and counselling services. We offer specialised healthcare like dialysis and cataract removal operations to indigent persons who would needlessly suffer due to a lack of a

ccess to medical care. We also run drug rehabilitation centres and have a home for abandoned, abused and vulnerable women in urgent need of a place of safety. To do all of this, we rely on funding and donations from people who wish to make a difference in the lives of others. Please visit www.sbc.org.za to find out how you can help change the world by uplifting one life at a time.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” — Nelson Mandela

Dedication, service, and making every minute count! ⏳

Inspired by the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day and the call to give 67 minutes of service to our communities, we are proud to mark a major step forward for the learners at St Ives Primary School in Klipspruit West.

With the completion of this borehole project, students and staff now have a reliable, long-term source of safe drinking water. Reliable access to clean water directly impacts a child’s education—reducing health issues, supporting daily school operations, and fostering a healthier, thriving learning environment.
