If like us, you cannot bear to think of all the dogs in shelters and in the townships that do not have a warm home this Winter, please support our ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐ and help us to keep them warm.
We are collecting blankets for: The Dogs Trust (200 dogs), Dogtown South Africa (80 dogs), Paws R Us: SA (over 70 dogs), Happy Yappers Animal Sanctuary NPO 119-872 (225 dogs) as well as for the dogs in the townships that live outside (assisted by The Dogs Trust and Happy Yappers).
Although the shelters would be grateful for any blanket donations, there is one blanket that is not worth buying: ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ญ, this blanket cannot be washed (single use only) and is a choking hazard for the dogs. Please consider buying ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ญ (available at PEP), please see first comment for pictures, or any fleece blanket.
We (and the dogs that will be warm because of you), would be so very grateful if you would add a few blankets to your shopping this weekend and drop them off at one of the drop-off points below.
Cat lovers, we need you too๐ we support Cat Family Foundation and Northgate Ferals NPO 306-673 and they are battling, please consider donating some cat food (Montego preferred) and use the same drop-off points below๐

If you own a retail store, coffee shop, restaurant or estate agency in the area, and you would be willing to act as a drop-off point for our shelter and outreach blanket drive, please get in touch. We will provide you with a neat box with the poster below attached to it. Or, If you live in a Residential Estate and you are willing to be a drop-off point for the residents in your estate, please contact us.
