ISACA SA ISACA - South Africa Chapter Our mission: To promote the Assurance, Security and Governance of information systems locally.

The South Africa Chapter covers all of South Africa, and meetings are held in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, East London, and Port Elizabeth. The chapter's main objectives are:
- To promote the education of, and help expand the knowledge and skills of its members in the interrelated fields of auditing, quality assurance, security, IS audit and control, and IT governance.
- To encourage

an open exchange of IS audit and control, quality assurance, and security techniques, approaches, and problem solving by its members.
- To promote adequate communication to keep members abreast of current events in IS audit and control, quality assurance, and security fields that can be of benefit to them and their employers.
- To communicate to management, auditors, universities, and to IS professionals the importance of establishing controls necessary to ensure the effective organization and utilization of IT resources.
- To promote the Association's professional certifications.

Call for Nominations Committee Members

The ISACA South Africa Chapter invites applications from eligible, qualified and committed members of ISACA (either locally or globally) to serve on its Nominations Committee for the election of the Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 term.

The Nominations Committee provides independent oversight by ensuring a transparent, independent, and merit-based nomination and election process for Board positions. The Committee is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and recommending suitable candidates for election to the Chapter Board.
